Happy Monday! I love Mondays! It’s the start of a brand new week, we’ve had the weekend to relax and recharge our batteries and now we have the energy and motivation to make our goals and dream a reality! I just love that feeling!!

#MotivationMonday Make the Most of your Monday!As its #MotivationMonday, I wanted to focus on a quote I love.. “The happiest people don’t have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.” Quite often with motivation we are looking to other people to motivate us and get us started on the right track. But I love this quote because sometimes the people we look at for motivation are doing just this.. making the best of everything that comes their way. Even when everything that is coming their way isn’t what they wished for or isn’t the smoothest journey! They aren’t thinking ‘why did this happen to me’, or ‘why do I have to deal with this’, I can think ‘this is happening to me because I can handle it and I can!!’ And guess what! You can do that too!! You can shift your thinking this way and provide your self with the empowerment and motivation you need!!

So as you begin this week, be your own motivation! Make the best of every situation you are faced with! Didn’t have time to meal plan? Choose the healthiest options at the deli. Work ran late and you won’t be able to make your fitness class? Go for a run or walk outside when you get home. Shift your thinking and make things work out no matter what! Make the most of you Monday and the rest of your week!!
